What you are buying when you buy a key, in plain words.
The licence
Tandem Player is published by InfiniteScripts. The free build is free to download and use. A licence key unlocks the rest of it — the shaping and editing tools listed on the pricing page. You are buying the right to use those tools, not the software itself.
- One key runs on one PC at a time. Two PCs in use at once need two keys
- You can move a key to another PC by pasting it there. The first move is free; after that a key can move once every 30 days. A PC that still has the key saved takes it back if Tandem is opened there once a move is allowed again, so use Remove from this PC on a machine you are leaving
- Free updates within 1.x
- Unlocking a key and a short check each launch talk to the licence server. What those requests carry is written out in full
Refunds
Licence keys are delivered instantly, and all sales are final once your key has been sent. If Tandem does not work on your machine, contact me first — I will help you get it running, and if it genuinely cannot work I will refund you. The refund section has the detail.
When a key can be withdrawn
A key can be withdrawn if its order is refunded, if the payment is reversed, or if the key has been published for other people to use. A withdrawn key stops working at the next launch after Tandem hears about it from the licence server (up to seven days later if that launch is offline), and Tandem goes back to being the free build. Your settings and your files are not touched.
If you think a key was withdrawn by mistake, email me with your order ID.
Your files and your device
Tandem does not include, host, link to or sell any video content, and it comes with no scripts. You bring your own files, and you are responsible for having the right to use them.
Tandem drives physical hardware. Use your device the way its maker intends.
No warranty
Tandem is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, InfiniteScripts is not liable for loss or damage that comes from using it, and never for more than you paid for your key. Nothing here takes away rights you have by law as a consumer.
