This site

No cookies, no analytics, no tracking, and no scripts of its own. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which carries every request and so sees your IP address, as any web host does.

When you buy

The shop that takes your payment records what it needs to deliver your key: your email address and your order. Card payments go to my own account with the payment processor. I never see your full card number, but like any seller I can see what the processor shows one: your email, the card's brand, last four digits, expiry and country, and the details it uses to check for fraud, such as your IP address.

If you pay in crypto through the Telegram shop, the order records your Telegram user ID, chat ID and username, the coin, the amount and its dollar price, your payment's transaction ID, which key you were sent, and when each step happened. A transaction ID is public on its blockchain and leads to the wallet you paid from; the shop looks it up on public blockchain explorers to confirm the payment. The shop's log notes who messaged it, not what they said.

The shop and the payment processor also keep their own records, under their own privacy policies.

The licence server

It keeps one record per key: the key's serial number, a one-way code for the machine it is on, when it was first unlocked, when the key was last sent from that PC to unlock it, when it last moved and how many times. If a key is withdrawn, the date that happened. No names, no email addresses, no IP addresses.

The one-way code is worked out on your PC from the ID Windows gives it, and cannot be turned back into that ID. On the rare PC where Windows does not give one out, it is made from the PC's name and processor instead, which are easier to guess. The licence server also runs on Cloudflare, which sees the IP address of each request as it carries it.

The app

No analytics and no crash reports, and nothing about your library or what you play is sent to me. Section 07 of the overview lists everything it sends over the internet, in full.

If you switch on library sharing for your headset, Tandem serves your library's titles, thumbnails and files on your local network, with no password, so any device on that network can reach it while sharing is on.

Seeing or deleting it

Email support@tandemplayer.com with your order ID. I will tell you what I hold about you, and delete it if you ask — unless it is needed to settle a payment dispute. Deleting the licence record simply frees your key: the next PC you paste it on takes it over.
